Levitated Dispensaries is a licensed adult-use dispensary at 4145 Hiawatha Ave in South Minneapolis. Hiawatha Avenue is Highway 55 — the road that runs from Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport to downtown Minneapolis — and the METRO Blue Line follows it the whole way. If you’ve just landed and you’re headed into the city, you will very likely pass us.

On the way downtown

We’re on the direct route between MSP and downtown Minneapolis, so stopping doesn’t mean a detour.

Free off-street parking

Our own lot is right outside the door. No meters, no ramp, and room for a rental car.

Order ahead for pickup

Place an order online once you’re on the ground and it’s typically ready in about 20 minutes — roughly the time it takes to get your bags and get here.

Open until 10 pm

Monday through Saturday we’re open 10 am to 10 pm, which covers most evening arrivals. Sunday hours are 11 am to 6 pm.

Driving from the airport

From Terminal 1

Leaving the terminal, follow the signs for Highway 5 East and then Highway 55 West toward Minneapolis. Highway 55 becomes Hiawatha Avenue as it enters the city. Stay on it past Minnehaha Park and 46th Street; we’re just north of 42nd Street. The drive is about five miles.

From Terminal 2

Terminal 2 has its own exit onto 34th Avenue. From there, follow the signs for Highway 55 West toward Minneapolis, and the rest of the trip is the same: north on Hiawatha Avenue to 42nd Street.

Either way, allow 10 to 15 minutes in normal traffic. If you’re taking a taxi or rideshare, the address to give is 4145 Hiawatha Ave, Minneapolis.

Taking light rail from the airport

The METRO Blue Line stops at both terminals and runs north along Hiawatha Avenue to downtown Minneapolis.

  • Terminal 1: the station is below the Red, Blue and Silver parking ramps. Take the tram from the Tram Level, one level below baggage claim.
  • Terminal 2: the station is on the north side of the Orange Ramp, reached by skyway from Level 1.
  • Board a northbound train, toward downtown Minneapolis.
  • Get off at 46th Street Station — the fourth stop after Terminal 1. The store is about half a mile north of the station. 38th Street Station, one stop farther, is about the same distance from us in the other direction.

Arriving, not departing

We’re a convenient stop on your way into Minnesota, not on your way out. Marijuana remains illegal under federal law, and airports are under federal jurisdiction. No. Marijuana remains illegal under federal law, airports and aircraft fall under federal jurisdiction, and carrying cannabis across state lines is a federal crime even between two states where it is legal. Cannabis purchased in Minnesota stays in Minnesota. If you are flying out, do not bring it to the airport.

Yes. Minnesota’s adult-use law applies to anyone 21 or older, resident or not, and no medical card is needed. Bring a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID: a driver’s license or ID card from any U.S. state, a passport, or a military ID.

In a private residence, or on private property where the owner allows it. Hotels, short-term rentals and rental car companies set their own rules, so check before you assume. It is illegal to use cannabis in any vehicle, as a driver or a passenger, and smoking or vaping is prohibited anywhere tobacco smoking is. There is no consumption at our store or in our parking lot.

Monday through Saturday we’re open from 10 am to 10 pm, and Sunday from 11 am to 6 pm. Online pickup orders can be placed any time during those hours and are typically ready in about 20 minutes.

Only if you are staying in Minnesota afterward. Anything you buy cannot go back through security with you, so a stop between connecting flights isn’t practical. If Minneapolis is your destination, stopping on the way from the airport to your hotel or home is the easy version.

In store we accept cash and debit card, and there is an ATM on site. Online pickup orders are paid at checkout by ACH or debit card. Credit cards are not accepted.
