Hale is the neighborhood south of Minnehaha Creek and west of Lake Nokomis, between Chicago and Cedar Avenues. Levitated is northeast of it at 4145 Hiawatha Ave, roughly two to two and a half miles away depending on where you start.
Getting here from Hale
By car
Cedar Avenue is the way out of Hale. Take it north across Minnehaha Parkway to 42nd Street, turn east, and follow 42nd Street to Hiawatha Avenue. We’re just north of that intersection, and parking in our lot is free.
By transit
Hale isn’t on the light rail, so most trips start with a bus. The nearest Blue Line stops to the store are 46th Street Station and 38th Street Station, each about half a mile away. Metro Transit’s trip planner will show current options from your address.
By bike
Pick up the Minnehaha Creek trail on the north side of the neighborhood and follow it east past Lake Hiawatha. Leave the trail at 28th Avenue, ride north to 42nd Street, and go east to Hiawatha Avenue. Bike racks are out front.
From south of the creek
Hale is one of the three neighborhoods that make up Hale-Page-Diamond Lake. Minnehaha Creek and its parkway form the northern edge, and Lake Nokomis is just across Cedar Avenue to the east.
It’s far enough that ordering ahead is worth it. Place an online pickup order before you leave, and it will typically be ready by the time you’ve made the drive.

- Bring a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID showing you’re 21 or older. We check every customer, every visit.
- In store we take cash and debit card. Online pickup orders are paid at checkout by ACH or debit card.
