Dispensary Near Hiawatha
Minneapolis, 4145 Hiawatha Ave
The Hiawatha neighborhood runs from 40th Street south to Minnehaha Park, between Hiawatha Avenue and the Mississippi River. Our store at 4145 Hiawatha Ave sits on that western boundary, a block and a half south of 40th Street, so for most of the neighborhood we’re the closest stop on the way to or from anywhere else.
Getting here from Hiawatha
By car
From Minnehaha Avenue, 46th Avenue or the river side of the neighborhood, take 42nd Street west until it meets Hiawatha Avenue. We’re just north of that intersection, with a free parking lot on site. Coming up from the Minnehaha Park end, Hiawatha Avenue northbound brings you past 46th Street and then 42nd Street.
By transit
The Blue Line’s 46th Street Station is right across Hiawatha Avenue from the south half of the neighborhood, and the store is about half a mile north of it. From the north half, 38th Street Station is about the same distance in the other direction.
By bike
Minnehaha Avenue’s bike lanes run the length of the neighborhood; turn west at 42nd Street. If you’re coming off West River Parkway, 42nd Street is also a direct way over. Bike racks are out front.
Between the falls and the river
This is the neighborhood most visitors to Minneapolis have been to without knowing its name: Minnehaha Falls, the Longfellow House and the river bluffs near Lock and Dam No. 1 are all inside it. The Ford Bridge at 46th Street is its link to St. Paul.
If you’re spending the day at Minnehaha Regional Park, we’re about a mile up Hiawatha Avenue. Please keep in mind that anything you buy stays sealed until you’re somewhere you’re allowed to use it — that does not include the park, your car, or our parking lot.
