Standish runs from 36th Street down to 42nd and 43rd Streets, between Cedar Avenue and Hiawatha Avenue. Levitated is at 4145 Hiawatha Ave, directly across Hiawatha from the neighborhood’s southeast corner — close enough that the only real question is where to cross.
Getting here from Standish
By car
Cross Hiawatha Avenue at 42nd Street. Take 42nd Street east from anywhere in Standish and we’re just north of the intersection on the far side. From the north end of the neighborhood, 38th Street to Hiawatha Avenue and then four blocks south works just as well. Parking in our lot is free.
By transit
38th Street Station is on Standish’s eastern edge. The store is about half a mile south of the station, which for most of the neighborhood is no shorter than walking directly to 42nd Street.
By bike
Ride 42nd Street east to Hiawatha Avenue and cross at the signal. Bike racks are right outside the store.
The other side of Hiawatha
Standish is mostly quiet residential blocks, with Roosevelt High School near its center and the 38th Street light rail station on its eastern edge. It shares a neighborhood association with Ericsson to the south, and the two are usually spoken of together as Standish-Ericsson.
