Getting here from Powderhorn Park
By car
Take 38th Street east, across Cedar Avenue and through Standish, to Hiawatha Avenue. Turn south and we’re four blocks down, near 42nd Street. From the north end of the neighborhood, Lake Street east to Hiawatha Avenue and then south is a similar distance. There’s free parking in our lot.
By transit
Crosstown buses on 38th Street and on Lake Street both connect to the Blue Line, at 38th Street Station and Lake Street/Midtown Station. From 38th Street Station the store is about half a mile south. Check Metro Transit’s trip planner for current routes and times.
By bike
The Midtown Greenway along the neighborhood’s north side is the low-stress route east. Cross Hiawatha Avenue on the Sabo Bridge, then take Minnehaha Avenue’s bike lanes south to 42nd Street and turn west. Bike racks are out front.
Across South Minneapolis on 38th Street
Powderhorn Park itself is the neighborhood’s center of gravity — the lake, the hills around it, and the community events held there through the year.
38th Street is the thread between us: it runs from the south edge of Powderhorn Park through Bancroft and Standish to Hiawatha Avenue without a turn.
